The Quarterly Report presents conclusions from the 2nd Energy Market Integrity and Transparency Forum, which opened in July 2018 and outlines the first sanctions for non-compliance with registration and reporting obligations under REMIT.
The 14th edition of ACER’s REMIT Quarterly Report for the third quarter od 2018 has been published on the REMIT Portal. The Quarterly reviews the 2nd Energy Market Integrity and Transparency Forum and presents its conclusions. The Forum found that REMIT implementation has been largely successful thanks to the efforts made by market participants, organised market places (OMPs) and registered reporting mechanisms (RRMs), and will act as a sound basis for further improvement. The next stage of REMIT will focus on optimising processes outlined in legislative frameworks at European level and on improving cooperation with market segments for the purpose of monitoring the market.
The Quarterly also outlines the first sanctions for non-compliance with registration and reporting obligations under REMIT and provides information on updates of REMIT documentation, as well as an overview of Contingency Reports ACER Agency also published the 22nd edition of REMIT Questions and Answers with the latest information concerning REMIT policy issues.
