The projects selected under the call will be announced in January 2019
The Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) received 159 proposals for the Competitive Low-Carbon Energy call, which closed on 31 January 2018. The call has an indicative budget of €57,5 million to finance projects focusing on the development of RES systems integrated into buildings.
This was the first call for funding under the new Horizon 2020 Work Programme. Two topics were open for research and innovation proposals: “(i) RES system integrated at the building scale” (€27,5 million); and (ii) “developing solutions to reduce the cost and increase the performance of RES technologies”. According to INEA, only up to 12 projects, six for each topic, may be funded under the current call for proposals.
The evaluation of the proposals, which will be carried out by external independent experts, will start in April 2018 and is expected to conclude in January 2019.
